Glory to God!
We want to start out praising and glorifying God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ for all that He
is and all that only He can accomplish. Following His lead will bring about fruit that will remain.
Every individual, no matter how seemingly small or insignificant is all part of His divine plan to reach
fellow believers who have not yet heard or realized what He has done for them and has planned for
those who love Him.
My husband and I had the opportunity to meet D.C. and eventually his lovely wife Sona over 15
years ago when they would come to the United States to share their needs for the poor of India. My
husband, Chuck, and another dear brother whose name is Brian went to India this year to see first
hand the precious people of northern India. We found that our brother did not have the resources to
keep everyone posted on the work that Living Hope is doing because of some unfortunate events,
such as computer crashes which caused him to loose all his contacts and even his handwritten
address book was lost. So I thought I would put this website together for him and hoped that we
could go to him with this resource. Sometimes that saying, "out of sight, out of mind", is true, so we
will try to keep them in sight and on your mind.
When God touched the heart of the Kaushals they realized that the good works that He had planned
for them were to reach out to the poor of northern India. They have given themselves fully to this
task and much fruit has come to this region of India. The gospel is going forth setting the people
free and they have educated them so they can read the Bible for themselves. Some have gone on
to be trained in their Bible training school and are now going forth with the gospel to the poor in the
villages. Many churches have sprung up in these villages which meet in homes. They just had
there 15th Annual Fall Conference which for most of the believers this was a first of a kind
gathering with fellow believers of the same language and culture and their faith was strengthened.
These ministries were not just the Kaushal's dreams because without the support from various
donors, pray supporters, and various friendships some of these ministries would not have been
possible. Even though D.C. and Sona Kaushal are now in their 70's, when many think of retiring
and focusing on themselves, these servants continue to give of themselves. Their son Sudodh and
his family are laboring and loving along side them in this vision of reaching the lost of India.
Please read a transcript of a question and answer interview conducted in March of 2010 with D.C.
and his wife Sona.
